Shade of the Morning Light
In the shade of the morning light,
I come bearing a gift.
It's for you, and you only,
A joyful moment that you have given me.
Lighter and brighter than my heart.
Now the shade is gone when you smiled.
I will not run, I will not run.
Your sun burns me so, yet i will not run.
I will not falter, nor will I fear.
It will not deter me, the fear of what I feel.
I must face my muse, with a full heart.
Who in his whole life, who in fact,
Is given a chance like this?
Touched her face or bestowed a kiss.
I must stand, oh i must stand;
With an unbound soul, and a maskless face.
I must stand, oh i must stand;
With an unbound soul, and a maskless face.
